I'm starting
with a panorama lined up on the main runway (26/08) at Ronaldsway looking
west. This is the viewpoint that a pilot would have just before landing.
As the airport was closed when I took this picture, all of the approach
and runway lighting is turned off, but normally even in good weather there
would be 'PAPIs' Precision Approach Path Indicators visible to the left
of the runway. They would be indicating that I was positioned too
high on the approach!
